At The Steadman Clinic, our commitment to community wellness goes beyond the clinic walls—and out onto the trails we all love and enjoy. That’s why Team Lee recently rolled up their sleeves for a day of trail maintenance on one of our adopted paths: Lower Hunter Creek Trail.
Nestled in the scenic hills around Aspen, Lower Hunter Creek offers hikers, runners, and bikers a stunning escape into nature. But as with all well-loved trails, consistent upkeep is essential to preserve access, safety, and sustainability. That’s where we stepped in.
Armed with tools, teamwork, and plenty of energy, Team Lee spent the day clearing overgrown brush, reinforcing trail edges, removing debris, and repairing sections impacted by erosion by building. With fall colors in full display and crisp mountain air keeping spirits high, the work was as rewarding as it was necessary.
