Davy Brown joined The Steadman Clinic in July 2024 as a Medical Assistant, where she works directly alongside Jared T. Lee, MD, to deliver personalized, high-level orthopedic care to patients of all backgrounds. In addition to her clinical role, she leads the team’s philanthropy and social media efforts—helping connect Steadman’s mission to the broader community and ensuring the clinic’s culture of care extends far beyond the operating room or exam room.
Originally from Aspen, Colorado, Davy was a five-time CSCAA All-American swimmer and RMAC Freshman of the Year at Colorado Mesa University, where she studied Molecular and Cellular Biology on the pre-medical track. Her decorated collegiate swim career includes multiple RMAC titles, NCAA national qualifications, and pool record–holding performances—experiences that shaped her passion for helping others regain the ability to move, compete, and live fully.
That same athlete mindset now informs her approach to orthopedic care. In pursuit of a deeper understanding of healthcare systems and communication, Davy earned a credential in Innovations and Teamwork in Healthcare through Harvard Business School. Motivated by a desire to better support Dr. Lee’s practice and strengthen team function, she sought out this advanced training to explore the root causes of the everyday inefficiencies, miscommunications, and challenges that arise within surgical teams and healthcare institutions. Through this experience, she gained practical tools to help build stronger, safer, and more efficient clinical environments—skills she applies daily in her work.
When she’s not in clinic, Davy enjoys hiking with her golden retriever, Charlie, performing and listening to live music, and studying for the MCAT. She’s proud to contribute to a team that values excellence, integrity, innovation, and continuous growth—both professionally and personally.
